This trick works for all versions of Windows, first, go to start menu and write “CMD” in the search tab and press enter it will open cmd.exe as shown in the figure given below

Now type the letter of the disk drive in which you have to show the hidden files and folders like your USB is a local disk (D:) then you have to type “D:” and then press enter as shown in the figure given below

After entering to the local disk you have to write this command (attrib –a –s –h –r /s /d) as shown in the figure

Press enter to show your hidden files and folders. You can also show your hidden files by the command (attrib –h –s –r –a /s /d G:*.*)

In this command “G” is the disk drive in which you have to show the hidden file, you will write the letter of your required disk drive. Like you have to show the hidden file of disk drive “E” then you will write “E” instead of “G”.
